As a system administrator, web developer, network analyst or security analyst, learn to create utilities and automate tasks as a system administrator. Become prepared to parse and analyze text files by learning RegEx, sed and awk. Prior exposure to Linux servers is recommended, but coding and scripting experience are not required.
