Hands-on look at NGOs and schools in an under-resourced and struggling township located in South Africa. Critical exposure to, and examination of, the role and challenges of organizations attempting to lead community development and education efforts within a globalized, new democracy which itself struggles with post-apartheid racism and inequities.
