Catalog description

Examines human and comparative biomechanics with emphasis on motion and kinematics. Applies engineering tools to analyze movement and biomechanical function. Develops foundational understanding of how living systems move and how to study them using quantitative methods. Course overlaps with: M E 412. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in either T PHYS 121, PHYS 121, or both PHYS 114 and PHYS 117; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in either TME 310, TMATH 110, or STAT 220, any of which may be taken concurrently.
