Introduces the fundamentals of bioengineering for engineers and biologists. Covers introductory biology (DNA/RNA, proteins, cells, tissues, organs, and biological systems), introductory mechanical engineering (statics, dynamics, and mechanics of materials) and integrated topics such as structure-function relationships, biomechanics, biotransport, and techniques in biomedical science and engineering.
