Catalog description
Studies intersectional feminist movements rooted in Black feminist and feminist of color theory, that are developed in response to the interlocking nature of systems of oppression. It delves into the creative cultural production and knowledge production of social movements as well as the interplay of art making, theory making, and social justice organizing in various historical and contemporary contexts. Recommended: either T WOMN 101, T EGL 101, or equivalent coursework.
