Catalog description

Explores the foundations of electromagnetics (EM) theory and applications, including scalar and vector fields field operators, Maxwell's equations, electrostatics, magnetostatics, time-varying fields, transmission lines, plane waves, waveguides, antennas and other topics in contemporary electrical engineering practice. Course overlaps with: E E 361. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in either E E 215 or TCES 215; a minimum grade of 2.0 in either TMATH 208 or MATH 208; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in either T PHYS 122 or PHYS 122.
