Examines experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) persons across criminal legal systems, the criminalization of queerness, and the historical impacts of policy and law. Scrutinizes discriminatory systems practices toward LGBTQ+ people with intersecting identities (race, class, gender, ability). Explores contemporary issues through critical theory and reflexivity.
