Catalog description

Explores fundamental concepts in thermodynamics, gas laws, phase changes, chemical kinetics, and nuclear chemistry. Second in a series of general chemistry courses for science majors. Includes required lab. Course overlaps with: CHEM 152 and B CHEM 152. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in either T CHEM 142 or CHEM 142; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in either TMATH 116, TMATH 120, TMATH 124, or MATH 124.
