Catalog description

Covers theoretical concepts and mathematical tools used for the design and analysis of continuous-time linear systems as well as analog signals. Topics covered in this course include linear convolution, impulse response, Laplace transform, Fourier series and Fourier transforms. Computer laboratory: Matlab is introduced for the analysis of signals and systems. Course overlaps with: E E 235; E E 242; and B EE 235. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in either E E 215 or TCES 215; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in either TMATH 126 or MATH 126.
