Catalog description
Explores the fundamentals of electrical engineering including basic circuit and systems concepts, mathematical models of components, Kirchhoff's laws, resistors, sources, capacitors, and inductors. Studies solutions of first and second order linear differential equations associated with basic circuit forms. Course overlaps with: E E 215 and B EE 215. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in either TMATH 126 or MATH 126; a minimum grade of 2.0 in either TMATH 207 or MATH 207 (either of which may be taken concurrently) ; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in either T PHYS 122 or PHYS 122.
