Critical Reading in Biomedical Sciences Literature

Catalog description

Critically read the biomedical sciences literature and identify major strengths and weaknesses in reports of experimental and observational biomedical studies in this intensive seminar. This will include gaining expertise in selected biomedical research or clinical techniques, interpreting statistical results, writing peer reviews, and critically reviewing a body of evidence to make a logical argument from an evidence-based viewpoint. Prerequisite: TBIOMD 310 and TMATH 110.
