Catalog description

Examines contemporary evidence from the fields of behavioral and affective neuroscience to understand the relationship between brain activity, neural networks, behavior, and subjective experience in humans and non-human animals. The relationship between structure, function, and integration of the nervous system demonstrates the role of neurotransmitter systems and signaling in motivation, movement, learning and memory, and emotional processes. Course equivalent to: B BIO 320. Course overlaps with: NEUSCI 302. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in either T BIOL 140 or TPSYCH 260.
