Catalog description
Covers the basic principles of genetics including but not limited to: genetic variation, impact of mutation, partitioning of chromosomes during cell divisions, Mendelian genetics, quantitative traits, comparative genomics, mapping, and diseases. Course overlaps with: GENOME 361; GENOME 371; and B BIO 360. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in either T BIOL 140 or BIOL 220; a minimum grade of 2.0 in either T CHEM 162 or CHEM 162; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in T BIOL 314.
