Catalog description
Provides a risk-based introduction to the assurance profession. Topics include fundamental concepts, standards, and procedures used in planning, conducting, and reporting on audits. As well as current issues and challenges facing auditors and the profession as a whole. There will also be an emphasis on the importance of character and ethics, communication skills, flexibility, analytical and critical thinking, and technological competence. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.7 in T ACCT 501.
