Catalog description

An introduction to the concepts of financial mathematics, and how they are applied in calculating present and accumulated values for various streams of cash flows, as a basis for future use in: reserving; valuation; pricing; asset/liability management; investment income; capital budgeting; and valuing contingent cash flows. Course overlaps with: B BUS 350; FIN 350; FIN 461; FIN 466; and T BUS 350. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in STMATH 125.
