Catalog description

Examines how multilevel societal factors influence differences in health and the provision of health services. Emphasizes impact of power and inequality on health of individuals, families, communities, and populations. Considers principles and actions of social justice and public health ethics to encourage self-exploration of roles to advocate for social change. Course overlaps with: T NURS 407/THLEAD 407. Prerequisite: B NURS 360.
