Precalculus II: Transcendental Functions

Catalog description

Continuation of the study of functions. Explores exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions. Emphasis will be placed on conceptual understanding, application, and symbolic manipulation skill throughout the course. Course overlaps with: MATH 120 and TMATH 120. Prerequisite: either a minimum grade of 2.5 in B MATH 122, a minimum score of 300 on the MTHDSP directed self-placement, a score of 145-153 on the MPT-AS assessment test, or a minimum score of 151 on the MPT-GS assessment test.
