Catalog description

Examines the role of labor in a historical and contemporary context. Explores the rise of the labor movements, including the formation of unions as well as other forms of organizing in the informal sector. Highlights the importance of labor movements as well as intersecting social justice movements (racial, sexual, gender, immigrant rights, ecological justice) for understanding historical patterns and contemporary issues in labor rights.
