Introduces basic techniques and critical frameworks for the practice of dance as a method of artistic research and community building, with an emphasis on collaboration, improvisation, and storytelling. Interdisciplinary connections are emphasized within dance to include performance, cultural studies, critical race and ethnic studies, women's and gender studies.
