Introduces policies, organizations, and systems that have shaped the U.S. healthcare system. Examines financing healthcare, forms of insurance, and care delivery models through a comparative lens. Explores different healthcare systems globally and how advocacy plays a role in creating policy and systems change. Course overlaps with: T HLTH 440. Prerequisite: BHS 201.
