Catalog description

Examines the basic biology and history of cancer with a focus on how genetics, age, infectious agents, and environmental factors contribute to the developmental of disease. Explores the risk factors, cause, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancers including breast, skin, liver, thyroid, prostate, lung, and cervical. Course overlaps with: B BIO 233 and BIOL 464.
