Catalog description

Introduction to global health for students of all backgrounds and disciplines. Focuses on how health is measured around the world, and how socioecological forces shape health experiences and outcomes. Surveys topics of global health research and practice, and invites students to independently analyze global health issues in specific geographic contexts. Course overlaps with: G H 101/GEOG 180/JSIS B 180 and T HLTH 285.
