Catalog description

Covers advanced techniques and concepts in digital speech and audio processing, including speech analysis and synthesis, audio beamforming, speech denoising, automatic speech recognition, spatial audio for virtual and augmented reality, and AI-driven speech technologies. Programming assignments and class projects focused on simulating and implementing signal processing algorithms. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.5 in B EE 510.
