Covers characteristics of conventional and renewable power generation with an emphasis on power systems of wind and solar generation technologies. Explores planning, operation, and analysis of power systems with distributed generation and emerging technologies like electric vehicles and storage systems. Examines power system economics and the benefits of integrating new energy technologies. Course overlaps with: E E 451 and TEE 433. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in B EE 233. Offered: SpS.
