Catalog description

Physics, characteristics, applications, analysis, and design of circuits using semiconductor diodes and field-effect transistors with an emphasis on large-signal behavior and digital logic circuits. Classroom concepts are reinforced through laboratory experiments and design exercises. Course overlaps with: E E 331 and TCES 312. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 2.0 in B EE 200; a minimum grade of 2.0 in either B EE 233 or E E 233; and a minimum grade of 1.7 in either B EE 271 or E E 271, either of which may be taken concurrently.
