Catalog description

Provides students with classroom methods, materials, and assessment strategies for teaching social studies in elementary schools. Grounded in democratic beliefs and assumes citizenship participation as an essential part of a free, humane, and civic community. Course overlaps with: T EDUC 462. Prerequisite: B EDUC 242; B EDUC 402; B EDUC 403; B EDUC 423; B EDUC 441; and either B BUS 220/BIS 200, BIS 175, BIS 180, BIS 203, BUS 218, BIS 242, BIS 280, BIS 314, BIS 320, BIS 416, or BIS 443.
