Time in Socio-Ecological Systems: Sun, Moon, Clocks, and Contaminants

Catalog description

Examines time as a socioecological construct to understand the role of land relations (western and Indigenous) in guiding human actions and decision making for sustaining species, lands, and waters - past, present and future - with a focus on how matter, including contaminants, flows through systems over time. Project-based course in which learning emerges through ongoing project work and engagement with scientific data, practices and processes. Offered: SpS.
