Addresses how managers can identify, analyze, and use costs and other information for decision making and performance evaluation. Students learn how to classify costs for different purposes, the key difference between expenses and costs, budgeting and use of budgets, controlling costs through understanding the demands for resources, how cost allocation affects incentives and aspects of decentralized control. Course equivalent to: T ACCT 513. Prerequisite: B BUS 503.
