Catalog description

Examines federal income tax principles that apply to gross incomes, deductions, property transactions and compensation. Equips students with the tools to conduct basic tax research and planning. Focuses primarily on the taxation of individuals, with some exposure to corporate and partnership environments. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of 1.7 in B BUS 361.
