Catalog description
Students will be introduced to basic brake systems, terminology, components, and theory of operation. Medium and heavy air and hydraulic brakes systems are covered including: service and emergency systems, disc, wedge and cam foundation brakes. Major anti-lock braking systems are discussed including service diagnostics procedures. Basic industrial hydraulic systems for mobile applications are covered including: principles of operation, parts identification, and preventative maintenance.
