Catalog description

Examines the communication issues associated with transaction between people from different cultures. Discussions focus on differences in perception and cognitive patterns; value systems and hierarchies; and, symbolic meaning as expressed through various verbal codes and nonverbal cues. The issues of ethnocentrism and conflict management are also considered.
