Catalog description
This is the first of six Applied Radiography courses that provide the student with the exposure to the practice of Radiology necessary to develop competence in patient care, instrumentation, radiographic procedures, image acquisition, promote professional and ethical conduct, and develop the student's ability to function both independently and as a member of the health care team, develop critical thinking/problem solving skills, and develop and promote Life-Long Learning skills. The outcomes are measured by performance objectives, written objectives, competency evaluations, and adherence to policy and the professional code of conduct. This is a knowledge based course designed to develop and evaluate the cognitive and psychomotor Domains.
