Catalog description

In this course, students will be exposed to basic theory and physiology of heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, traction, compression, light, and soft tissue mobilization with a focus on the essential knowledge and skills needed for the safe selection and application of physical and mechanical modalities. The opportunity for development of skills in application of these modalities will be provided to students in the laboratory setting.
