Catalog description

This course explores the nature, history, and philosophy of occupational therapy in the United States, covering meaningful occupation, purposeful activity, practice domains, theoretical frameworks, and ethical considerations. Topics include practice models, the occupational therapist-occupational therapist-assistant relationship, licensure, reimbursement, and legal regulations. The Occupational Therapy Framework: Domain and Process will also be examined.
