Catalog description
This course is designed to assist the Associate Degree Nursing student in developing a theoretical foundation for the professional practice of nursing. This course will enhance the student's ability to refine clinical judgment and leadership skills as well as develop skills in managing the care of multiple patients. The course focuses on discovering and discussing issues and trends which affect nursing practice. The legal and regulartory requirements of nursing practice and the leadership and managerial concepts will be explored. This course will prepare the student for the NCLEX-RN examination and the transition to the profession of nursing.
