Catalog description
This course is designed to assist the Associate Degree Nursing student in the comprehension of developmental, physiological, and psychosocial concepts as they relate to health promotion with mothers and families. The unique nursing care needs of childbearing and childrearing families will be addressed. The clinical simulation laboratory will be used to reinforce classroom theory and promote nursing student collaboration, decision-making, and judgment in a supportive learning environment.
