Catalog description
This course is designed to assist the Associate Degree nursing student in the comprehension of pathophysiological and psychosocial concepts as they relate to patients experiencing complex alterations in health. Emphasis will be placed upon clinical judgment in the assistance and their support persons to attain, maintain and regain health in advanced technological settings. The student will utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice to prioritize optimal health outcomes int he provision of safe, quality nursing care.
