Catalog description

Quantitative Reasoning will be unlike any mathematics course you have ever taken. This course develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a variety of mathematical contexts, real-life situations, and quantitative comparisons. You will work collaboratively with other students to do, to think, to listen, and to talk about mathematics, statistics, and mathematical modeling. You will also learn how to make your mathematical thinking seen, heard, and understood by others. OT36-M
