Maternal Child Nursing

Catalog description

This course focuses on pre-and post-natal maternal nursing care, as well as the care of children from infancy to adolescence. Emphasis is given to normal reproduction and frequently occurring biological, cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of the child bearing and child rearing family. Prerequisites: Successful completion of Washburn Tech Level I Practical Nursing Program.
