Catalog description
This hybrid course is an introduction to the science of pharmacology. The focus will be on the actions, interactions, adverse effects, and nursing implications for each class of drugs presented. Students will explore the effects of pharmacological treatments on the body as they are used to treat musculoskeletal, integumentary, sensory, immunologic, infectious, and inflammatory disorders. Prerequisites: Admission to ADN program or permission of Program Director.
