Catalog description
This course prepares students to perform a comprehensive and focused health assessment including past medical history, assessment skills, and identification and significance of normal and abnormal findings for patients throughout the lifespan. Skills include physiological, psychological, sociological, culture, and spiritual assessments of the patient as a whole person. Prerequisites: Admission to ADN program or permission of Program Director.
