Catalog description

In this course, learners will explore the theoretical foundations and principles of health promotion and disease prevention across the lifespan for individuals, families, and populations. Lifestyle behaviors, protective and predictive factors that influence health including genetics, will be examined. The importance of communication and interprofessional collaboration to improve health are discussed. Prerequisites: Admission to RN to BSN program
