Catalog description

The first of two courses designed to strengthen and enhance learner knowledge about physical assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology for major health problems. Exploration will include cellular, immune, lymphatic, circulatory, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and renal systems. Learners are challenged to enhance their comprehension of health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management strategies that improve the care of healthy and compromised individuals, groups, and populations. Prerequisites: Admission to RN to BSN program
