Catalog description

The purpose of MM 417 Mass Media and AI Literacy is to explore and analyze the influence of generative AI on media production and current media-consumption trends. Special attention will be given to AI’s transformative impact in different content creation areas such as writing, design, video and sound. Students will gain hands-on experience with AI by completing media-related projects. Prerequisites: Prerequisites: Junior Level Standing or Consent.
