Catalog description

Concepts and procedures for rational numbers, operations, patterns, geometry, and measurement for grades K-6. Course is designed for paraprofessionals with classroom experience. Emphasis placed on analysis of their observations of these topics with K-6 learners. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in MA 112 or higher, or, math ACT score or quantitative SAT score, or Compass Mathematics Placement score or equivalent knowledge as determined by the Mathematics Department.
