Catalog description

Introduction to core concepts and methods in machine learning. Students will explore data preprocessing and feature engineering, neural networks and other modeling techniques, machine learning algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement), and model evaluation. The course also addresses ethical considerations in the development and deployment of machine learning systems. Prerequisites: CM 307 and MA 140 .
