This course prepares students for leadership roles in long-term care and aging services, including nursing homes, assisted living, and community-based programs. Students explore the health, social, and functional needs of older adults while developing skills in administration, workforce management, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement. Course assignments and projects emphasize ethical decision-making, person-centered care, and effective organizational leadership.
