Cardiovascular Monitoring and Scanning

Catalog description

Course for Respiratory Therapy students designed to provide the student with an understanding of patient assessment through the use of diagnostic tools. Areas of study will include cardiovascular monitoring, review of anatomy & physiology of the heart, hemodynamic monitoring, Pulmonary Function Testing, Chest X-ray interpretation, ECG interpretation, & basic patient assessment. Prerequisites: Admission to Respiratory Therapy program.
