Catalog description

Section information text: Students in this course are provided with an introduction to multivariate statistics and their uses in the social sciences. Students explore a variety of topics, including data screening and cleaning, factorial ANOVA, analysis of covariance, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), discriminant function analysis, multiple regression, logistic regression, path analysis, factor and principle components analysis, and structural equation modeling. Through contextual and application-based assignments, students focus on understanding theory and using SPSS to solve problems.
