Section information text: Adulthood represents a rich developmental experience, including many significant life transitions. In this course, students explore the key theories and research of adult development. They examine the social, emotional, biological, and cognitive maturation processes that define development of adulthood and aging. Students engage in assignments designed to provide practical application of theories to topical issues, such as culture, attachment and relationships, careers, and end-of-life considerations.
